Zenith University College’s Multiculturalism Enhances Educational Tourism in Ghana

Accra, Ghana – Zenith University College in Ghana is experiencing a boost in educational tourism, attributed to its embrace of multiculturalism, as stated by Mr. Philip K. Buabeng, the Acting Rector of the Institution.

According to Ghana News Agency, who shared his insights after the College’s 15th Graduation Ceremony, the enrollment of international students from various West African countries, including Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and The Gambia, has not only increased the student body but also enriched cultural diversity and exchanges on campus. This diversity, he said, is a significant factor in promoting educational tourism in Ghana, positively impacting the country’s economy. Buabeng emphasized the importance of educational tourism and advocated for its continued support and growth, noting its benefits to the Ghanaian economy.

Highlighting the cultural contributions of students from different countries, Buabeng praised the unique perspectives and approaches they bring, particularly noting the positive influence of Nigerian students on campus. He described the integration of these diverse cultural backgrounds with the Ghanaian student community and management as a beautiful aspect of life at Zenith College.

During the ceremony, the overall best student, Samuel Amoah Gogo, delivered a valedictory speech, encouraging his fellow graduates to face the future with resilience and confidence, despite any challenges they might encounter in the real world.

The graduation event marked the successful completion of studies for 195 students, who earned degrees in Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Notably, this year’s graduation had a higher number of female graduates, with 106 women completing their programs compared to 89 male graduates.
