The ministry has started work to model one block of primary school in Konso zone.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry is focusing on the renovation of Gamole Primary School in Konzo Zone, Southern Region.
The elementary school is surrounded by a number of problems, although local residents send their adult children to the school to buy a table of knowledge.
The school, which reportedly has 730 students, has a number of material and resource constraints that impede the teaching and learning process. One of the many problems at the school is the library service for students.
From the list and type of books that a library needs to complete, the books are housed in chicken coops cages, where no more than five students can be accommodated in uncomfortable wooden chairs at a time, as well as a pile of termites, books, and other problems. Our office observed during the visit.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry, in collaboration with its affiliated institutions, has promised to model and deliver one block of the school and one part of the library as a model.
The social support service continues!
