Stakeholders Discussing Ways about Resumption of Education in Tigray Region
Discussion that paves the way for the resumption of education in Tigray Region is underway in the regional capital of Tigray, Mekelle.
Relevant stakeholders drawn from Ministry of Education and universities as well as others from the education sector are participating in the discussion.
Among them include Education State Minister Doctor Samuel Kifle, Addis Ababa University President Professor Tassew Woldehana, Bahir Dar University President Doctor Frew Tegegn.
In the discussion was mentioned the determination of the government to start regular education in the region.
To this end, officials of the Ministry of Education and Tigray Interim Administration are discussing about the ways of resuming education in the region.
Following the Pretoria Peace agreement signed between the federal government and TPLF, the efforts of humanitarian delivery, reconstruction of infrastructure and rehabilitation efforts have being carried out in Tigray.
