Somali Prime Minister meets Pakistani President in Saudi Arabia

The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre met with the President of Pakistan, H.E Arif Alvi who is also performing Hajj this year at Mina in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Prime Minister and the President discussed the longstanding relationship between Somalia and Pakistan, and strengthen cooperation in the fields of agricultural production, Fisheries, energy, and livestock. PM Hamza and President Arif also talked about ways to assist each other in the fight against terrorism and agreed to prepare a delegation from both sides led by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs so that they can implement the discussed issues.
