Prime Minister Abiy Praises Leadership of Outgoing African Union Commission Chair

Addis Ababa: Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed honors Moussa Faki Mahamat, outgoing Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), and outgoing Deputy Chair, Dr. Monique Nsanzabaganwa during the State Dinner held for Heads of State and Government attending the 38th Ordinary Assembly of the Union.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, as the new Chairperson of the African Union Commission is welcomed, Prime Minister Abiy expressed gratitude towards Moussa Faki Mahamat for his leadership and friendship over the past years. The Prime Minister highlighted the significant contributions made by Mahamat in his role as Chairperson.

The Prime Minister shared his sentiments on social media, emphasizing Ethiopia’s appreciation for Mahamat’s dedicated service to Africa. He conveyed heartfelt wishes for Mahamat’s future endeavors, acknowledging the impact of his tenure.
