Prime Minister Abiy Meets CAF President Patrice Motsepe to Discuss Upcoming General Assembly
Addis ababa: Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held a meeting today with Patrice Motsepe, President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and other executive committee members. The discussions focused on the preparations for the 46th CAF Ordinary General Assembly, which Ethiopia will host.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, Prime Minister Abiy shared details of the meeting on his social media, stating, “I received at my office this morning Confederation of African Football (CAF) President Patrice Motsepe and members of the executive committee ahead of the 46th CAF Ordinary General Assembly that Ethiopia is hosting.” The meeting underscored Ethiopia’s commitment to ensuring the success of the upcoming event.
During their time together, Prime Minister Abiy and CAF President Motsepe also visited the Adey Abeba Stadium, a significant venue for the event, which is currently nearing completion.
