President Ruto of Kenya Arrives in Addis Ababa for AU Summit
Addis Ababa: Kenyan President William Ruto arrived in Addis Ababa to participate at the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union. Upon his arrival, senior government officials including Trade and Regional Integration Minister Kassahun Gofe cordially received President Ruto at Bole International Airport.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the African Union, comprising 55 member states from across the continent, will hold its regular summit in Addis Ababa this week under the important theme ‘Justice for Africans and People of African Descent Through Reparations.’ Heads of States and Governments of African nations are expected to participate at the summit which is also believed to attract leaders of international organizations.
