President of Somalia Calls for Lifting Arms Embargo in UN Security Council Speech

In a highly significant address to the United Nations Security Council, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia focused on the current situation, security, and the eradication of extremism in the country. Speaking at a special session on Somalia, President Mohamud emphasized that Somalia in 2023 is vastly different from the Somalia of 1992, highlighting the progress made over the years.
