Nigerian Diplomats, Investors Visit Jimma Town in Ethiopia
A delegation of Nigerian diplomats and investors led by President of the African Children Talent Discovery Foundation, Noah Dallaji has visited Jimma town in Oromia regional state of Ethiopia.
Upon arrival at Jimma Abajifar Airport, the delegation was welcomed by the Mayor of Jimma Nejiba Abba Raya and President of Jimma University Jemal Abba Fita and high-level officials.
The main objective of the visit is to help boost the tourism and investment sector in Jimma.
Members of the delegation have visited tourist destinations and various investment opportunities available in Jimma.
The delegation was briefed about the investment opportunities available in Jimma.
Members of the delegation have visited the 150 years old Jimma historical museum.
During the occasion, leader of the delegation and President of the African Children Talent Discovery Foundation, Noah Dallaji affirmed to strengthen the log-term relations between Ethiopia and Nigeria in various spheres including investment and tourism.
Jimma is an old town established in 1883 and very well known for its historical heritages and coffee products.
By working on the historic places and tourism sites of Jimma, the visit aims at making the town as a source of tourism and economic growth.
Several development activities including the construction of industrial Zones are also underway in Jimma in order to attract foreign investors, it was indicated during the occasion.
