He was born on May 14, 1983, in Gerese town, Bonke Woreda, Gamo Zone.

He completed his primary education at Gidole Elementary School and his secondary education at Gidole Secondary and Preparatory School.

He received his Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources and Irrigation Engineering from Hawassa University on June 9, 2007 and his Master’s degree in Hydraulic Engineering from Arba Minch University on August 25, 2012.

He served as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Water Resources and Irrigation Engineering at Arba Minch University from March 10, 2008 and rose to the rank of Lecturer Academic from August 25, 2012 until his death.

He passed away on October 19, 2014, at the age of 31, after receiving medical treatment for his illness.
