Ada Assurance Beach Soccer Club (BSC) triumphed over Cheetah BSC to secure their first-ever 2022/23 Beach Soccer Premier League title. The championship match, held at the Keta Emancipation Beach Resort on Sunday, November 5, ended in a dramatic fashion with Ada Assurance emerging victorious after a penalty shootout.

According to Ghana News Agency, the final was a nail-biting affair, concluding with a 4-4 tie in regulation time. The tense atmosphere continued into the penalty shootout, where Ada Assurance edged out Cheetah BSC, the newcomers to the league, with a narrow 6-5 victory.

The final match was not only a thrilling encounter but also showcased the skill and competitiveness of the teams. Ada Assurance, known as one of the giants in the league, ultimately lifted the trophy in a grand style, marking a significant achievement in their history.

In addition to the championship game, Keta Sunset Sports BSC faced off against Layoca BSC in the third-place playoff, which was held before the final. Keta Sunset Sports BSC demonstrated their dominance in this match, comfortably securing the third-place position.

The Ghana Football Association awarded medals to the winners, first, and second runner-ups in recognition of their performances throughout the season. The event also celebrated individual talents, with awards being presented to the highest goal scorer, best goalkeeper, and best player of the season, acknowledging their outstanding contributions to the league.
