H.E. Dr. Muktar Kedir, Ambassador-Designate of Ethiopia to Australia paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Francis Frank Bwalya, High Commissioner of the Republic of Zambia to Australia.

H.E. Dr. Muktar Kedir, Ambassador-Designate of Ethiopia to Australia paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Francis Frank Bwalya, Zambian High Commissioner to Australia on the 1st of June 2021.

During their discussion H.E Dr. Muktar emphasized the importance of strengthening the existing historical bilateral relationship between Ethiopia and the Republic of Zambia. H.E Dr. Muktar also briefed the High Commissioner on current situation in Ethiopia, including the status of the ongoing negotiation between Ethiopia, Egypt and the Sudan on the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam and the upcoming general election.

Finally, the two parties concurred to closely cooperate on issues of mutual interest.
