Ethiopian Airlines Resumes Passenger Flights to Monrovia.
Monrovia: Ethiopian Airlines has resumed passenger flights to Monrovia, Liberia, starting this morning today. The flights to Monrovia were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, it was learnt. The inaugural flight ceremony was graced by Liberia’s Transport Minister Sirleaf Tyler, Liberian Ambassador to Ethiopia Louise Sharene, and Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mesfin Tassew, along with other invited guests.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the resumption of flights will be three times a week and will facilitate smoother travel, promote people-to-people ties, bolster economic growth, and strengthen the relationship between Ethiopia and Liberia. Ethiopian Airlines, the leading carrier in Africa, is expanding its destinations in Africa and beyond.
