Agyei Elizabeth Otiwa Wins Miss Knustford 2023 Title
Accra – Agyei Elizabeth Otiwa, a level 300 Nursing Student at Knutsford University, has achieved a significant milestone by being crowned Miss Knustford 2023. Her victory was announced during the grand finale held at the university’s auditorium, marking a highlight in the institution’s cultural and social calendar.
According to Ghana News Agency, the 2023 edition of the Miss Knustford pageant showcased the talents and presentation skills of various finalists. According to event details, Agyei Elizabeth stood out amongst her peers, impressing the judges with her performance and securing the prestigious title.
Ms. Evelyn Amprofi, studying marketing, was named the first runner-up, followed by Ms. Andoh Georgina, a fellow nursing student, who claimed the position of second runner-up. Other notable contestants in the grand finale included Francisca Sedinam, a level 400 student, and Rebecca Mensah, a level 200 student, both of whom demonstrated their prowess in African Cultural display and dance.
As part of her victory, Ms. Agyei Elizabeth was awarded a full-year scholarship, a customized sash, and ambassadorial responsibilities. The second and third winners also received significant awards, each securing a semester scholarship.
Nana Yaw Kwakye-Boadu, Chief Executive Officer of EduEnter Group Ghana, the organizers of the pageant, expressed his satisfaction with the event’s outcome and the quality of the contestants’ presentations. He congratulated all the winners, encouraging them to fulfill their roles in promoting environmental sustainability through innovative recycling initiatives.
Kwakye-Boadu also extended his gratitude to Mr. John Kwamena Essel, the Pro-Chancellor, and the management of Knutsford University for their support, as well as to the sponsors of the event.
This year’s pageant was themed ‘Projecting our Africanness through Scholarly Education,’ aiming to highlight the rich cultural heritage of African society. The event was a collaboration between EduEnter Group Ghana and the Student Representative Council of Knutsford University, recognized as one of Africa’s prestigious university colleges.
