ADDIS ABABA: Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed emphasized the pivotal role of the Abrehot Library in nurturing a generation of wisely skilled youth, aligning with Ethiopia’s broader development objectives. The library, named after the Amharic word for “enlightenment,” has been a cornerstone of educational advancement since its inception.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the library’s facade, adorned with the word “wisdom” in 18 languages, reflects its mission of fostering enlightenment across generations. Prime Minister Abiy noted the library’s contribution to youth development during a recent visit, where he interacted with young individuals engaged in innovative fields such as robotics and application development.
