53.91 million edible oils are ready for distribution

53.91 million liters of cooking oil is ready for distribution to increase inflation.

The government is taking various measures to stabilize the supply of edible oil prices. A total of 2,341,817 liters of oil is being produced every month due to the opportunities opened up for investors to invest in the sector. In addition, 40 million liters of oil is imported by the government and 48 million liters of oil, which is supplied by traders through the free market system, 5 million 361,131 liters per month, which is less than the demand of 26 million liters.

Currently, 36.8 million liters of cooking oil is imported and 17 million 110 thousand liters of domestic production is ready for the market.

The country’s monthly demand for edible oil is 74 million 62,547 liters.
